On cold wintry New York nights like this, only a handful of things could warm me up the way "Rick Rolling" does. Considering that this nugget is only now making its way into my lexicon means that its likely been around for months already, making the rounds amongst the snarkiest of hipsters and now taking a brief layover with me before becoming the stuff of d-bag office email forwards. It goes something like this, you send a friend an email recommending a You-Tube link with the titillating promise of "that don't tase me guy is back" or "man arm wrestles chimpanzee." However, much to your friend's surprise the link transports them back a few decades to Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up." In the end, you both win I think.
